Dr. Ali Behmard grew up in the North shore. He attended university in Vancouver and completed both his Bachelor’s degree in honors physiology and his dental degree (DDS) at the University of British Colombia. Shortly after completing his dental degree, he further pursued his love for dentistry by doing a one year General Practice residency (G.P.R) in Vancouver. This exposed him to further training in oral maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, and pedodontics.

In 2001, Dr Behmard traveled to Vietnam to work at Ho Chi Man city’s major trauma center, to treat maxillofacial trauma patients, and to promote international dentistry to other dental residents in Vancouver.

Continuing education is a very important part of Dr. Behmard’s philosophy because he truly believes that one has to be on the cutting edge of their field to be able to provide their patients with the highest quality of care. He is also a clinical instructor at ubc denal school.

He has further expanded his training by attending multiple externships in advanced general dentistry and oral surgery on St. Petersburg Florida, Houston Texas, and University of Washington. He is a member of Association of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, Canadian Dental Association, and Vancouver Dental District Society. Furthermore, he also belongs to multiple study clubs in the field of esthetic dentistry and oral implants. He just recently returned from Michigan where he was trained the new field of computerized dentistry (CEREC system).

Dr. Behmard is newly married and his wife is a family physician working in West Vancouver. Besides his work and family, Dr. Behmard loves traveling, skiing, running, and playing soccer. He is looking forward to being back in the North Shore to contribute to his community.

With more than 15 years of business experience, Sheida’s mix of personality and management expertise has brought a true sense of focus to our team. As an honors graduate of the Dental Reception Program at BCIT, combined with her experience in the dental field, Sheida’s enthusiasm and love for dental care has made her an essential part of our success.

Involved in Dentistry for 25 years now and coming from the Fraser Valley, Trish has a great love for gardening, horses, and she enjoys designing jewelry.

As Dr. Behmard’s hygienist, Courtney hopes to contribute both to her patient’s well being, and also to the development of a more dental conscious minded community.

Dedicated to the Dental Profession for over seven years, Courtney has bettered others by educating and promoting professional methods of general health and dental hygiene.

Having grown up in beautiful West Vancouver, it was only natural for her to select the North Shore as her canvas for painting her success within the hygiene specialty.

“I hope to benefit by learning from, and aiding others, while developing relationships with the families and individuals at the Park Royal Village Dental Centre. I will feel that I have succeeded if patients leave feeling both positive and proactive from their experience at our clinic.“

Val started her dental reception career in 1977 in Campbell River. With over 30 years of dental office experience, she has had the opportunity to assist in the administrative aspects of speciality clinics in oral surgery, pedodontics, and endodontic offices as well as several general practices.

In her spare time she enjoys gardening, sewing, travel, and Latin and ballroom dancing.
